It's a GIVEAWAY day!!!
Most of you know I worked for a card shop, Hallmark, for 9 years...it was my first job and I loved it!! I love it because I am a card writer, I love writing and receiving notes! You can ask my Engineer what my love language is...and it is WORDS and knowing that someone took the time to write a note or card and send it in the mail...well, you've won my heart!!
Cards are important to me, and honestly, I keep just about every card I receive. The notes and cards we received from our wedding are some of my favorites! Many people wrote sweet encouragement and blessings to us. One of my favorites is from a family member who wrote such an encouraging note and prayer to us about God's plan being exactly perfect and how His timing is not like our's. How He takes care of us even when we aren't realizing it. I was so touched by this note, and many others we received.
I love sending cards and thank you notes, too! It is one of my favorite ways to let people know I care and I am thinking about them. Text messaging is good for that, too, but there is something really sweet about sitting down, getting out pen and paper, and writing down the things you're thinking about someone. It touches the heart in ways a phone message just cannot do...or an email.
I am also a bit particular about my note sending! I love finding the perfect card that says just the right thing....but just signing it is not enough, people! You have to write a personal message, so that the person receiving the note knows you care a LOT! If you're taking the time to pick out the card, you can take a few extra seconds and write a message! It is such a blessing to receive notes of love from people who care! I love it!
So, this month, Incourage.me and DaySpring cards, two of my favorite websites ever, sent me cards and a card organizer to review! I love DaySpring and buy my encouraging notes from them a lot!!
Here's a picture of the note cards I received from Dayspring and how you can win the $20 gift certificate I have from DaySpring!! DaySpring has such a great selection of notes and journals and even home decor, so you DON'T want to miss this give-away opportunity!!!
So, in order to win this giveaway, here's what I need you to do!! Contest will be open until Friday January 27th at 10 am EST! So, don't miss out! I'll be using a random selector to choose the winner! For each step you take, write a comment, and don't forget to add your email address to each comment!

I am just like you! There is nothing I like more than to receive a handwritten note from someone! And I love Dayspring cards too!! Thanks for the giveaway!
I already follow you on Pintrest but sorry...I don't twit ;)
My most meaningful note was one that my husband wrote me when dating. He took the time to write things he wanted to do with me before he was 30. So sweet, especially since this wasn't his cup of tea. :)
I'm following you on pinterest ... and by the way, I love your Children's Ministry Space Board!! :)
One of the best notes I ever recieved was when I was in college. A friend and I went to an out-of-state college together. We were both a little homesick. One day I called her and she didn't sound like herself, so I walked right over to her dorm room, went in and just gave her the biggest hug. A couple of days later she sent me a little home-made card with a picture of these outstretched arms on it that said, "Your hugs feel like home". I cried. She cried. Then we laughed. I still have that card. activefaithbeliever@yahoo.com
