New things...7 months later...

Preoccupied.  That word sort of describes the last 7 months of my life.  I'll just post a picture to show you what has been going on in my life.

Oh, can you see it?  There's a pretty shiny thing on my hand there.  My left hand.  Yes, I am engaged!!  Sorry, it's been a few months for those of you who are saying, "April, that is old news!!!"  But for a lot of my blogger friends, I haven't revealed such news yet!  Well, I didn't even reveal that I was dating anyone, much less getting a sweet rock on my hand.  So, all that to say, "I am sorry I haven't updated in over 7 months....I've been a little preoccupied...."  But, don't we look happy??

So, now it's on to wedding planning, and preparing and wishing My Engineer lived in Georgia already....but he's still in Virginia working, providing and taking care of me.  He's so good, y'all.  He even created our cute wedding blog--check it out!  I've been much better about updating over there--whoops!

Our wedding date is just a few days over 2 months away: December 10th, 2011!!!  It is going to be here before we know it!!  And my sweet Engineer will be here this weekend so we can spend some time together--we try to see each other every 3 weeks or so.  But, y'all, 600 miles is a really long way. (thankful for buddy passes from my mom, and a sweet man who doesn't mind driving to visit me)  He's so good, y'all.  Really.

So, I just wanted to officially update the blog.  A long awaited update, I know.  I will be better.  I hope!!
