Book Review: Your Money God's Way

Here's my latest read:  Your Money God's Way: Overcoming the 7 Money Myths that keep Christians Broke by Amie Streater

Your Money God's Way by Amie Streater is a great book! I really enjoyed reading it and found that there were many truths in it that most people can relate to. A lot of people have books out there about finances, how to cut your bills and groceries and whatever, but not all of them have God in mind when they wrote them. I love how she writes from pure experience, and she helps lead others in her ministry to financial freedom. Amie has totally been there, so it is nice to be able to read it and now she understands.
One of my favorite aspects of the book were the little boxes on every couple of pages with a quote. She also has God's Way of doing things and Solution Steps at the end of each chapter. This I found great, because, yes the information is awesome and practical, but when it comes to real life, it is sometimes (all the time) hard to plan in our own lives, and for those of us who really want to know what God thinks about things...well, it is really helpful! Or maybe that's just me...
Amie shows the reader throughout the book that she really has a heart for people, and she says several times how she just wants us to live up to our full potential, and that God wants that for us, as well!
I need this book, and will continue to refer to it as I plan my finances and figure out my life! I recommend it to anyone who wants to know God's view on finances and what He thinks about how we spend our money...because believe me, He cares a lot!!
